LDCcomex’s team of experts worked energetically on the execution of customs planning and with government agencies, in partnership with a large company in the oil and gas sector, to import a platform for the exploration and production of oil and natural gas under the Repetro-Sped regime (IN RFB 1781/17).
The high complexity of the project was directly related to the characteristics of the platform’s import operation. Due to the operation’s specifications, it was necessary to distribute it in several stages, with fractionated shipments, referring to its main parts for installation in the exploration field itself. These main parts of the Platform were built separately in different countries and were transported by special ferries directly to the location in the exploration field.
LDCcomex collaborated by providing all the necessary customs support, including the preparation of the complete goods report and presentations to Brazilian Customs in order to explain the peculiarities of the project and the solutions defined under the current customs legislation, ensuring the total compliance of the operation with the legal norms.
